Who you are:

You’re a forward-thinking problem solver who loves building cloud-based systems. You wake up in the morning thinking about AWS cost optimization and can pivot by mid-afternoon to stand up a new service and build out Terraform code to manage it.

This role will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform while fostering a culture of automation, performance, and operational excellence.

What you’ll do:

Lead and mentor a high-performing team across DevOps, AWS Cloud, and SRE disciplines.
Own the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.
Enforce best practices in cloud governance, cost management, and resource optimization.
Evaluate and integrate new AWS services and tools that support evolving business needs.
Oversee development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
Drive automation of infrastructure, configuration, and deployment processes using IaC tools like Terraform.
Ensure proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response protocols are in place and effective.

What you bring:

6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
2+ years in a leadership or managerial role, managing technical teams.
Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Experience managing CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or New Relic.
Strong grasp of networking, security, and performance optimization in cloud environments.

Bonus points:

Experience within Healthcare IT organizations.
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
